#RightToWorkNM: Liberals call bill “racist”, are outraged at a worker’s right to choose

By the time the House Judicial Committee hearing on New Mexico Right to Work legislation ended yesterday evening, I was exhausted and I am certain the committee members were too.  Five hours of testimony that went on.  And on.  And on…  And on…. And…

The committee hearing was supposed to begin at 1:30p.m. in Roundhouse Room 309, but with long lines out the door of the committee room, the hearing venue was moved to the House Chambers and by the time things actually got started and an amendment Rep. Roch had proposed was properly printed, it was after 2:00p.m.

The Judiciary Committee Democrats immediately objected to the amendments Roch insisted were minor, but agreed to hear testimony on Tuesday and continue the rest of committee proceedings later.

Supporters of New Mexico Right–to-Work legislation spoke first…

Then opposition to Right-to-Work spoke…

And a few of my favorites (observations and otherwise)…

Nice…I don’t have to think about this legislation for a couple of days! 😉

This blog needs your support!

This legislative session it is important to have a conservative political voice to counteract the far-Left radicals like the Santa Fe Reporter, ProgressNow New Mexico and the newly created NM Political Report.

You can give a donation to keep this blog going by visiting PayPal here and using my email “donate@politicalfireball.com”. Your support would be appreciated– with your help, this blog will continue to be active– I imtend to report honestly and respond to hard-Left bias that tries to dominate the liberal media blogosphere in New Mexico!
