Sunday Inspiration: Speak Up for Justice

“If thou be faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

Deliver them that are drawn to death, and wilt thou not preserve them that are led to be slain?

If thou say, Behold, we knew not of it: he that pondereth the hearts, doth not he understand it? and he that keepeth thy soul, knoweth he it not? will he not also recompense every man according to his works?”

Proverbs 24:10-12

“You should defend those who cannot help themselves.

Yes, speak up for the poor and helpless, and see that they get justice.”

Proverbs 31:8-9

  1. Like so many of you in blog land, you’re good at the talkin’ part, from the ether.
But when it comes down to the action, the cuttin’, the gettin’ it done..
Well, you are convenient kinds of Christian’s, got a mouthful o Jesus and a handful of “Thank you very much”.
Failing that, you become spellin’ Nazi’s.
You have no interest in taking on real corruption, the kind that keeps this state first on every bad list and last on the good. The kind that allows thieves in high places to shed a tear on a stage and whimper, “Eet’s all abou de keeed’s”. Then allows political do nothing light weights like Diane “left turn” Hamilton to stay in office, with your help. (So named because whenever she enters the local Albertson’s she makes an immedeate left turn. that’s where she loads the cart, booze first. Show me who your friends are, I’ll know who you are bunkie….
You claim to have agazillion “likes”. Well that’s nice but that hardly translates into action or $ now does it. In truth you are not much better than that Moynahan clown, and while you both have about the same amount of spine, you ARE both partisan progressives.
So, I have grown bored listening to how you have been victimized and being the seemingly only commenter on your ever so important blog.
    Count me as unsubscribed.
