Progressive organizations plan for an “installation” of pro-abortion “art” at the Santa Fe plaza that progressive, pro-abortion organizations are fully backing. The event appears to have been rescheduled from about two weeks ago and progressive organizations: Respect NM Women, Oh Lawd and ProgressNow New Mexico, plan to have a virtual rally today from 10 am to 1pm, followed by a (based on information we see online) in-person “art installation” on the plaza in Santa Fe at 5 p.m. today and 5 p.m. tomorrow. Judging from the information provided, the “art installation” will be held in person at the plaza. Respect NM Women and ProgressNow New Mexico even brag in the email that the events are supported by a coalition of artists and lawmakers. So is this event condoned by New Mexico Speaker of the House Brian Egolf? And if the event isn’t supposed to be in person, why is the event listing and invitation so vague?

Will law enforcement (the state police or city police) look into this matter and ensure the event isn’t attended by more than five people? We doubt it. In Santa Fe, state police are still kept busy keeping the people out of the people’s house (the state capitol), and local police harass moms out for afternoon strolls with their hungry kids having picnics, but the plaza is open to progressive art exhibitions promoted by organizations promoting abortion? That sounds fair. Oh, wait, it doesn’t.
The “art installation” will commemorate and celebrate abortion not far from where just a few months ago progressives tore down historic monuments while organizations, including ProgressNow, cheered.
