This past week we celebrated not only our nation’s Declaration of Independence, but our rich history that tells the tale of a nation founded on individual liberty and the right of the people to self-govern.

“We hold these truths to be evident that all men are created equal and endowed by their Creator with certain inalienable rights…life liberty and the pursuit of happiness…”  When Thomas Jefferson helped draft our nation’s Declaration of Independence, he was one of many who risked all to gain freedom, for their children.
