Tuesday was an eventful day for New Mexico’s congressional delegation. Not only did Israeli Prime Minister give his address before Congress in the afternoon, but Congress also voted on the Department of Homeland Security funding.
Congressman Pearce stands against illegal immigration
Congressman Steve Pearce did well to vote against the DHS clean funding– and against the funding of Obama’s illegal immigration amnesty. In a statement released yesterday, Rep. Pearce criticized House leadership citing the oath to uphold the Constitution. Pearce said, “Congress cannot allow President Obama to continue acting without regard for the law.” This was a vote on principle– thank you, sir!
Senator Heinrich opposes Israel and Benjamin Netanyahu
While the rest of New Mexico’s congressional delegation attended PM Bibi Netenyahu’s speech, Senator Heinrich was AWOL. And if that weren’t enough, he wrote an extremely offensive press release “explaining” his differences from Netanyahu. Is Heinrich saying he, a freshman Senator, is a better judge on foreign policy than PM Bibi Netanyahu, who is “right there” in the middle east?! Give me a break…
Where I differ from Prime Minister Netanyahu is how best to actually accomplish that. If we abandon negotiations due to unrealistic expectations, then we will undoubtedly lose IAEA inspections. That would encourage Iran to resume development and would result in a very high likelihood of direct military conflict.

This legislative session it is important to have a conservative political voice to counteract the far-Left radicals like the Santa Fe Reporter, ProgressNow New Mexico and the newly created NM Political Report. Any help you can give would be appreciated
Yes, Heinrich IS a better judge of US foreign policy. WHY do conservatives support Bibi telling us what we should do? We give this rogue country tens of billions a year, and he says behind our back, “America is easy to move.” And he is obviously right. Shameful!
