The story has hit the news twice now– first Brendan Eich said donating to a traditional marriage supporting organization was a mistake, then he was forced to resign as CEO of Mozilla Firefox because of the donation.

It is amazing that America has gone to such a low level that we are evaluated by how we make donations to organizations…six years ago!

The Left didn’t targeted Mr. Eich for a nasty public comment ridiculing a different lifestyle, a hate-filled remark about somebody that he disliked who was gay or something reasonable along that line…

The LGBT mafia (dubbed by Bill Mahr) snooped into Eich’s donations that were made a half dozen years ago.  Shouldn’t donations be private?  Shouldn’t ones personal views be kept separate as long as they’re not unlawful or hurting someone?  Or is the exercise of free speech something that only liberals and Leftists and Marxist radicals are entitled to?

Why is there a double standard?  If someone supports traditional marriage over same sex “marriage” what is the big deal?  Why is his or her private opinion important in getting a job if there isn’t a public display or discrimination?

Can conservatives stay true to their beliefs and keep a job?  Clearly they cannot…but what is more: Can conservatives get away with an apology for backing traditional marriage and keep their job?  In the case of Brendan Eich, we see this is not possible…

Where is America going?  God help us!

Note: I am not against those who consider themselves gay or lesbian as people.  I do oppose their lifestyle and their forcing us to treat their relationship as equal to that of heterosexual marriage which was ordained by God.  I realize as a Christian I am called to love everyone, even if I disagree with them– I pray that those who live an alternative lifestyle will be brought to God’s saving grace.  Also…I have friends and family who live alternative lifestyles. Tolerance: I agree to disagree with their lifestyle.
