Pat Davis continues to work at wiggling out of his DWI. He has no sense of justice.
Stalling, stalling, stalling.
Trial was set for 8:30 this morning according to an online case search.
This time the stalling was on the part of Davis’ attorney Ousama Rasheed. While the assistant DA and law enforcement were on time for the trial proceedings, Rasheed arrived late and claimed he had a health issue.
Excuses, excuses…
The state had offered a plea deal from aggravated DWI to regular DWI. Rasheed said the deal was only good for 24 hours and that he could not get back with the DA over the phone. So, more postponement and a reschedule for February 27th.
Sneaky is as sneaky does
One thing I can say about Davis– he is living up to the words used to describe him by a supporter of his sheriff candidacy a few years ago (albeit, different meaning than the supporter meant):
Pat Davis is “combating [his] DWI with full force.”
Keep on, keeping on…
But don’t worry, Davis has time to criticize political opponents– and should one of his political opponents make a mistake similar to his, he will go after them… ’cause that’s the kind of hypocrite he is.
