Davis, #1 Hypocrite
As I’ve mentioned on this blog a couple times, our “friend” Pat Davis who works for Progress Now New Mexico was arrested last summer and charged with aggravated DWI after his sports car hit another car early one morning.
At the time Davis was the chair of Crime Stoppers, an organization that touts itself as, “a community program that relies on anonymous tips to solve crimes and to locate fugitives from justice.” Davis has a background in law enforcement according to his LinkedIn profile, which says he has worked as an officer at the U.S. Capitol, Washington D.C. and at the University of New Mexico.
Ignore the problem up, it may go away
Interestingly enough, Davis’ actions since his DWI arrest show us his real character. We are reminded that Davis is not so much concerned about law and justice as he is about power and control.
After so many judge recusals there are many questions. Are the judges attempting to stay out of Davis way? Are they concerned because they may have Davis rage turned on them if he is convicted on the aggravated DWI charge? Or is Davis using his political connections to get out of this tight spot? Davis is the type of animal (figure of speech) that will return to bite those who he thinks have done him wrong and nobody wants to be within range. As a former law enforcement officer Davis knows his best chances will be if he can drag out the time for a trial.
So, what is going to happen? Davis should not be allowed to get off free. As in every situation, justice should be served!
