In an amazing 180 that doubtless leaves the heads of many Leftists and liberals spinning with shock and fury, A&E has said that they will reinstate Phil Robertson as a member of the Duck Dynasty show as they continue to film additional episodes of the hit series:
The “Duck Dynasty” family says they are excited to return to work after A&E Network announced Friday it would resume filming their hit show with Phil Robertson next spring in a reversal of its decision last week to suspend him for comments he made about homosexuality.
In an exclusive statement to FoxNews.com, the family said it was “excited to keep making a quality TV show for our dedicated fans, who have showed us wonderful support. We will continue to represent our faith and values in the most positive way through ‘Duck Dynasty’ and our many projects that we are currently working on.
“The outpouring of support and prayer has encouraged and emboldened us greatly.”
Earlier this month Phil Robertson was “indefinitely suspended” after he dared to voice his disagreement with the homosexual lifestyle and shared that his perspective came from convictions and beliefs rooted in the Bible.
Following the release of his comments organizations including GLAAD went ballistic and demanded Phil’s (figurative) head.
The shouts of “tolerance” could be heard from the lips of the same hypocrite Leftists who simultaneously demanded that Phil Robertson lose his job because they didn’t like his no-nonsense approach.
As I have repeatedly said here, the Left continually seeks to ignore the true definition of tolerance:
For these hard-Left groups and activists there is no compromise. Their agenda must come first at the expense of tolerance and equal opportunity.
This time grassroots conservatives have won. Not because we have bullied, but because we have spoken up and stood for what we believe!

Amazing 180? I think not. A one-week, planned PR stunt that broke (conveniently) when the cast and crew were on hiatus, so not a single day of shooting was lost. As “controversy” weaves through news outlets, A&E shows MARATHON of past episodes! People talk about the show who never heard of it before. A&E wags finger so it can save face in front of any potential audience. All go back to making money. CAPITALISM… WINNING!

You’re right, IM. It became obvious when you looked at filming a pack of rednecks versus the purported $500 million it was worth to do it. No rocket surgery there, even for somebody who hasn’t seen so much as a trailer.
Now for the utter oddity of GQ being the interviewer. I knew camo was back in fashion, but camo fashion?
Capitalism……. WINNING!!

Maybe. Maybe not. I am inclined to think my first response was correct, but you do have a point– Capitalism works!
