Fighting for US

The government shutdown is about out-of-control government leaders that refuse to listen to the people.  It is about making DC listen to people.  Those in control of the Senate would rather see a government shutdown than give up their failure of a healthcare plan.

The colossal Obamacare, the “Affordable Healthcare Act,” has proved to be much more expensive than most people in our nation expected.  What’s more, while it costs less for a few, in the end we are learning people will be traveling farther to find a healthcare provider or being forced to wait longer for treatment.  It isn’t worth it.  And as many in the middle working class find their healthcare premiums doubling, citizens across the nation are upset as Washington refuses to listen!

The Republican-controlled House listens to the people, but the Senate controlled by the Democrats refuses to hear the cry of working-class people who can’t afford Obamacare.  A few in the Senate have represented us– great people like Cruz, Lee and Rubio stand out.

The Democrats could stop the government shutdown, but instead they have chosen to ignore the voice of the people and force us to fund Obamacare and shut down government.  It isn’t the Tea Party’s fault as the Democrats claim.  The Republican National Committee has supported the House as they seek to defund Obamacare.  So…the Democrats are attacking every Republican loyal to their party when they attempt to blame us for the pending government shutdown.

[Warning: Offensive language.]

This evening I ran into the perfect specimen of Democratic Party Kool-Aid drinking who was spreading nonsense.  It came in the form of a Leftist woman from Roswell, New Mexico.  Let’s see what Paual Hopper has to share…

She automatically claimed Pearce is “Tea Party” because she doesn’t like him– as if that justifies her bigotry and hatred.  Then when I called her on her lies, she attacked me as a “Teabagger” as well.  I’ve never been associated with such– she’s lumping everyone she dislikes together.

Then to make complete her insane hatred for anyone who wanted to defund Obamacare, this woman (I dare not call her “lady”), went on a rant which included the same three word phrase to at least ten people:

*     *     *

And we wonder why the Democrats are messed up?  By their rage and anger the Left is blinded from using common sense.  When they don’t get their way they shut down government and go on tirades against anyone who disagrees with them.  They do not stand for us and fight for us as some like Senator Ted Cruz and Senator Mike Lee have.  Instead they fight to tear down, hurting everyday Americans like you and me across the country…

Don’t want the shutdown?  Simple.  Fight for US and defund Obamacare, the monstrous mess that will wreak havoc for our economy and hurt our citizens!!

  1. Are Republicans the new Democrats?

    Remember how in the 90′s Democrats used to whine and complain that Republicans won battle after battle because they were better organised, more disciplined and more ruthless? Well maybe the boot is on the other foot now…

    The budget / Obama-care battle is looking like one that will (sadly) be a victory for the Dems. Poll after poll shows that voters will blame the GOP for the shut down. Which is why Boehner desperately wanted to avoid this battle and save his fire for the debt ceiling fight which is just around the corner. But could he control his caucus? No. Well, not nearly as effectively as Harry Reid controlled his. Not a single Dem senator broke ranks on the budget fight, even the “red state” ones who are facing tough re-election battles and could be hurt by this.

    If Boehner had had his way, then the GOP in the house would have avoided this fight and instead been alive and well to win the debt ceiling fight. But he couldn’t control his flock as well as Reid controls his.

    So we will bleed centre-ish support over this fight instead of scoring valuable points in a totally win-able debt ceiling battle…

    And by being totally inflexible on any compromise to the budget, Reid has ruthlessly forced the first of these two big battles to be fought on terrain that favours him and will thus deliver a well-thought out victory for our Democrat friends.

    1. I fail to see your point. To be frank, I believe you’re wrong.

      What good is the Republican Party if it does not stand for anything? We would just be a more conservative version of the Left. I’m shocked you claim you’re a conservative because you sound JUST like a Leftist Democrat!
